Here is a great looking vintage wall lamp with three glass panels on a brass coloured fixing. This is from Sweden and takes a small E14 screw bulb.

This has an on off switch on the cable and is supplied with a UK three pin fused plug – this is not earthed. It is working fine, this will be supplied without a bulb.
