Description

Here is a very early standard size wooden Dewhurst’s Sylko cotton reel in Dk. Lilac D.208. This label predates the naming of colours, note it also has the factory location Skipton on the label. We believe this dates from the first decades of the 20th century.

This seems to have been only lightly used and has plenty of thread left. The labels has been pierced from sewing machine use but otherwise are clean and have only minor wear.
