Description

Here is a lovely oval casserole/vegetable oven proof glass dish with a divider in bright red manufactured by Phoenix. This probably dates from the 50’s or 60’s, it’s in great condition and is fine for everyday use.

Phoenix was a brand name for the British Heat Resisting Glass Co. Ltd manufactured heat proof glass until the end of the 70’s in Bilston in the West Midlands.

Condition: This is in very good vintage condition. There is some scratching to the base where this has been placed on surfaces when used, there are a few tiny fleabite chips one one edge but these are really small and hardly noticeable. There are a few utensil marks to the inside but again these are minimal.
