Description

Here is a set of four Wood’s Ware Beryl (pale green) 10″ dinner plates. The Wood’s Beryl range was first made in the war years and was an enduring feature of every village hall up and down the country. This design is easily recognisable by the concentric impressed circle banding and the Art Deco inspired form.

Three of the plates are stamped Beryl on the base, the fourth one isn’t but is definitely Beryl.

Condition: Very clean used condition, there are some light utensil marks from use but nothing bad. One plate has a tiny edge flea bite chip (see the last photo).
