Here is a lovely cream woven wool blanket with a CC41 Utility label from the second world war or rationing years of the late 40’s and early 50s.

This is a lovely warm blanket that will be great over the winter months

Size:
The label says 70″ by 90″ but we’ve measured this as
Width -162cm (65″)
Length – 198cm (80″)

Condition: This looks and smells clean and has been well looked after. There are a small number of minor marks but nothing bad. There are a few little moth marks (see the last photo for the worst one) but this is definitly clean and clear of problems now. The label is a little faded and the top stitching has come away. Overall a beautiful and rare blanket – this would be equally at home in a museum or on your sofa!
