William Morris Golden Lily Pattern Curtains

Description

This item is sold but please take a look around, we have many more great vintage items available.

Here is a pair of very large home made vintage curtains in the William Morris Golden Lily pattern by Sanderson. Each curtain is made up of three lengths of material sewn together by hand with a large hem of approximately 9″ (24cm).

These measure 139″ (354cm) wide (at the bottom) and are 81″ long. Please note the two curtains are not exactly the same size and the drop varies by a couple of inches. As mentioned above these were sewn by hand and alongside the slight variance in width/length the panels match closely but not exactly on the joins.

These can be used as curtains or the fabric would be ideal for cushion covers, lamp shades or other projects.

We believe these are from the 70’s.

Condition: A lovely clean fabric, there is very slight fading and wear visible on a couple of the seams but nothing bad and overall these look great (see photos).
