This 1950’s lidded jar by Kirkham Pottery has the wonderful Chef & Stripe pattern. With “Store” written in a funky script and the great stick man type figures, we really love this design.

This is in great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, there is evidence that the lid has been scrubbed rather hard which has rubbed off some of the glaze but this hardly shows and doesn’t detract from what is a really lovely piece.
