Description

A Phoenix opal oven proof glass drinking glass with a yellow rose transfer on each side that almost certainly dates from the 1960’s. This is not strictly speaking Pyrex as Phoenix operated under a different patent but the end result was the same and there is no obvious difference.

This is excellent condition with no damage or obvious wear but there is a small manufacturing defect where part of a transfer has stuck on the underside at the edge (see photo). This is not obvious when the glass is up the right way so it doesn’t detract from the piece.
